Why is FamiLink unique?
Most Internet filters are installed on the users computer. FamiLink places the filter on its server. That means, before you even get on the Internet, FamiLink has already found and eliminated web sites and pages that you obviously don't want to see.

How does it work?
When you get on the Internet with FamiLink, every page you request is routed through our Filter Server on the FamiLink Network. That means every web request must go through our Filter.

But, isn't that slow?
Not really. As a matter of fact, you don't even notice the difference. Plus, Familink uses Propel Accelerator to boost speed up to 5 times faster than non-accelerated dialup!

Is there any way around the Filter?
No. We believe the Internet should be free of things you obviously don't want to see. So the only Internet access we provide is Filtered.

How often do I have to download a filter Update?
Never. Our Filtering team updates the FamiLink Filter every day! That means every time you get on the Internet with FamiLink you are assured the most up to date filter.

What if I find something that should be blocked?
We want to provide you with as much peace of mind as possible. If you find a site or page that should obviously be blocked, just go to our Request Form on our home page and submit the site you find objectionable.

The same goes for pages you think should not be blocked. Just let us know using the Request Form. If the page does not meet the filtering criteria, we will unblock it.
